I qualified as a doctor in 1978 and work in Croydon, Surrey as a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at Shirley Oaks Hospital (private practice) and Mayday University Hospital (NHS). I am the Consultant-in-Charge of fertility services at both hospitals. My medical practice falls into three main areas.

I am involved with the teaching and training of junior doctors, medical students and also undertake medico-legal report writing. I am an approved Special Skills Trainer with the RCOG for transvaginal ultrasound and assisted conception and have been closely involved with the investigation and treatment of infertility since 1984. My involvement with in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) dates from that time, with the last 20 years or so seeing significant developments.

My outside interests are varied and include jazz music, water-based activities and cooking for family and friends. To find out more about me click here.
